LINEAR MOTION GUIDES & SHAFTS
Recirculating Linear Ball Bearing
A linear guide is a machine device that uses bearings designed for rotational motion to move heavy items effortlessly in a straight line. It is known as a "recirculating linear ball bearing."
The linear guide is primarily composed of three components: a movable carriage, a rail that supports the carriage's motions, and balls. Attaching a mechanism for recirculating the balls allows for linear motion.
A linear guideway has a lower coefficient of friction than a standard slide and can take weights in all directions. A linear guideway with these properties can achieve high precision and considerably improved movement accuracy.
