Affix Securely
A fastener is a mechanical tool that securely fastens two surfaces or things together. Non-permanent fasteners (bolts, screws, etc.) can be easily removed without causing any harm to the materials to which they are connected. Permanent fasteners may require substantial force to remove and may cause damage to the surfaces on which they are attached. Permanent fasteners (rivets, nails, etc.) are designed to offer a strong, long-lasting connection.
